Created out of a love only a mother can have; back in 2002 Rhonda Fuller, founder, was taking her daughter to a cheer leading program that wound up getting discontinued. This was heartbreaking to her daughter who at a young 5 years of age had only one wish: to be a cheerleader with a uniform. 

So with the motivation that only a daughter with a broken heart can give, Rhonda, with the support of her husband Steve, rented the gymnasium at the local Discovery School in Mansfield, Ohio for two days a week. She bought some mats, hired some coaches, and invited other parents who's children were also attending that discontinued program to participate in the fun. It was from this "spirit" that Spirit Ohio All Stars was born!
